Outland Denim was founded as an avenue for the training and employment of women who have experienced sex trafficking. Today, welcome 80+ employees from varying backgrounds of injustice. Through training, living wages, and education, they are empowered to live free for the first time.
Up to 86% less water, 57% less energy, and 83% less chemicals are used in our Cambodian wash and finishing facilities. To produce natural denim with minimal impact, we employ industry-leading water and energy reducing technology and partner with universities and governments around the world.
Every button, rivet, and stitch is carefully selected to minimise impact on the environment and to mitigate the risk of exploitation in our supply chain. From cotton farm through to the courier delivering your denim, we aim for 'Zero Exploitation' through a supply chain that is currently 94% traceable.
Printed on the pocket lining of every pair of Outland Denims is a message from one of the seamstresses that made your clothes. We aim to bring the worlds of our makers and our customers closer together.
